New Cowboys Stadium

The cheapest season ticket seat in the new Cowboys $1.1 billion stadium in Arlington will be $59.00, or $9.00 more than the cheapest seats in the current Cowboy Stadium.

How many of the “cheap seats” will there be? 8,000 (no $150,000 one-time seat option required).

There are 50,000 seats that will be reserved for season ticket holders running from $59 to $125 per game, including two preseason games.

And, for those that did not know, it’s impossible to purchase single game tickets through the Cowboys for games. Why? The Cowboys don’t sell them. The only way that the Cowboys will consider selling single game tickets is if they are unable to sell out ticket inventory as season tickets. As reported by the Dallas Morning News:

Most reserved seats at the new stadium also will require seat options, which range from $2,000 to $5,000. The seat option gives fans the right to buy the same seats for 30 years.

The reserved seats are mostly in the upper decks, corners and end zones. The club seats are between the end zones and closest to the field.

On Thursday, the team also announced that it would sell 1,200 loge seats in the upper deck at midfield. Those will cost $125 per game and require a $12,000 seat option. The loge seats will have cushioned club-style seating, but those fans won't have access to the stadium's private clubs.

How much for the most expensive non-luxury suite seats in the house? $340 per game, which require seat options ranging from $16,000 to $150,000.

If all this seems like it might lower interest, think again. The Cowboys have a waiting list of 10,000 for the opportunity to get season tickets.
