According to Yahoo! Sports, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of defensive tackle Tony McDaniel to a contract extension earlier this week.

The Jaguars also recently signed McDaniel’s fellow defensive tackle Rob Meier and offensive tackle Richard Collier to extensions as well.

The team decided to sign McDaniel since last year’s starters Marcus Stroud and Grady Jackson are no longer on the team.
