According to Dennis Waszak of the Associated Press, the New York Jets have officially hired former Philadelphia Eagles director of pro personnel Scott Cohen as their assistant general manager.
The position was recently created by general manager Mike Tannenbaum to give him some help with day to day operations. The same source stated that the Jets current personnel director Terry Bradway and college scouting director Joey Clinkscales would be receiving new titles and contracts, but that JoJo Wooden would stay on as the team’s director of the pro personnel department. Cohen had previously worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Redskins scouting departments. Posted by Business of Sports staff member and Biz of Football Editor of Content Bill Jordan.
