Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers has fired his agent, Mike Sullivan. Sullivan is the Managing Director of Octagon Football.
According to Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal/Sports Business Daily, Sullivan confirmed the firing. “While I am disappointed with his decision, I wish him the best.” Rogers has become the starting quearterback for the Packers after Brett Favre retired. Since Farve has come out of retirement, the Packers have traded him to the Jets, thus removing any doubt that Rogers will be the starting QB next season. Mullen reports that, "there is speculation in the industry that Rodgers will sign with Tom Condon of CAA or agent David Dunn of Athletes First, but a CAA source said that agency has had no contact with Rodgers."
