Commissioner Goodell today reinstated Adam “Pacman” Jones, thus allowing him to be in a Cowboys uniform for the first game of the season against the Cleveland Browns. Jones is quoted in the Dallas Morning News as saying: "It feels good man, you know, to get a second chance and I just have to take advantage of it," Pacman told Calvin "Lucky" Watkins. "First and foremost I don't want to let myself down, definitely my little girl down. I'm thankful for Jerry, the fans in Dallas and my teammates for believing in me. I need to keep doing what I've been doing to get reinstated -- staying with myself and my teammates and staying away form those knuckleheads and just stay focused." Jones sent a letter to Goodell earlier this year requesting reinstatement. The league has said that Commissioner Goodell would not have comment on Jones’ reinstatement. Jones was granted limited reinstatement in June of this year (read the NFL statement) Jones has been a repeat offender of off-the-field incidents involving the law. According to ESPN, he's been arrested six times and involved in 12 incidents requiring police intervention since being drafted in the first round by Tennessee in 2005.
