Jay Zygmunt, the president and general manager of the St. Louis Rams has reached a mutual agreement with the franchise to step down, effective immediately, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Executive VP of player personnel Billy Devaney, who has been serving as the de facto GM over the course of several weeks will head the search for a new coach after Scott Linehan was fired in September. Jim Haslett has been serving in an interim capacity as head coach since then.
