With no deal in place in Arizona, free-agent quarterback Kurt Warner is set to visit other teams, starting with the San Francisco 49'ers.
ESPN.com's John Clayton along with multiple sources report that Warner has been recruited by at least two teams, including the 49ers. He has been in a stalemate in talks with the Cardinals for more than week. The Cardinals have offered between $10 million and $12 million a year, and Warner wants between $14 million and $16 million. Both sides have talked about a two-year deal, but a third option year might be added. Warner had previously stated that he would sign with the Cardinals or retire, but this could be an indication that frustration is mounting with Arizona.
