Dallas owner Jerry Jones confirmed on Thursday that Terrell Owens is no longer a Cowboy. NFL.com reports that Jones called the release "a tough decision," and also stated that the move was "based upon consideration for an entire team." Dallas also cut ties with long-time safety Roy Williams, and the team is moving in a new direction. The Cowboys will take a $9.675 million salary-cap hit since they released Owens before June, and will have one less marquee player when they unveil their new $1.1 billion dollar stadium this year. The number of possible destinations for the volatile star appear to be somewhat limited, as T.O. has burned bridges in previous stints with the 49'ers and Eagles, as well as with former coordinators and coaches who now have the helm in Kansas City, Baltimore, and Miami.
